Who We Are
The Coalition for Safe Driver Incentives (CSDI) is a grassroots movement of families, advocates, and organizations dedicated to making California roads safer. We are the faces of road tragedies —families who have lost loved ones and advocates fighting to prevent future tragedies. Our mission is to bring Safe Driver Incentives (SDI) to California, empowering drivers with the tools to drive safer, save money, and protect their families.
For over five years, discussions around modernizing California's road safety policies to include telematics-based Safe Driver Incentives have taken place by industry groups and regulators. For too long, families and the public have been left out of the conversation. Now is the time to change that, we’re stepping in to demand change—because it's our safety on the line. We believe California drivers deserve access to the same voluntary, privacy-protected Safe Driver Incentive programs available in 49 other states. These programs not only save lives, but reward drivers who choose to drive better.
